WELCOME!  David said it best when he said, “I was glad when they said unto me…let us go into the house of the Lord.”  I hope that you have come today with that kind of excitement and anticipation about worshipping our Lord.  I welcome you; I am glad you are here.

ATTENTION ALL YOUTH - Youth Impact Choir Rehearsals:  In preparation for our Youth Day celebration on Sunday, September 24th during all three services, we invite all youth to come out and bring a friend to join the Youth Impact Choir. Join us for rehearsals on September 18th, 19th & 21st at 7:00PM.

 

Friday, September 22ndSTIR IT UP – Paint Nite: All ladies ages 18 and older are invited to come out for our Women’s Season Kick-off event. This will be an evening of fellowship and fun that will motivate and inspire you to stir up the gift within. Join us at 6:30PM as we enjoy live refreshments and live music featuring Jazzpirational Sounds of Saxophonist Marcus Mitchell before our painting activity. The cost is $25 and nonrefundable. Stop by the Women’s Ministry Station in the Narthex to register or online at mtennon.org.

 

Women’s Conference Early Bird Registration:  All ladies are invited to join us for our upcoming Women’s Conference – Chosen – on Saturday, October 14th from 7:00AM to 4:00PM.  Early Bird Registration continues through Friday, September 22nd; the cost is $55.00.  All costs are nonrefundable.  Register early and save! 

 

Saturday, September 23rd – Marriage Ministry Brunch Cruise:  All husbands and wives are invited to join us for an unforgettable experience as we enjoy fellowship, fine dining, and live music on the Odyssey for a brunch cruise on the Potomac.  Motor Coach transportation will be provided; the bus will depart the church at 9:30AM. Attire is Dressy Casual. The cost is a nonrefundable $190 per couple; space is limited.  Register at the Marriage Ministry Station in the Narthex or online at mtennon.org.

 

Saturday, September 23rd – A Taste of Fitness:  All are invited to join the Health & Wellness Ministry from 9:00AM – 1:00PM as we kick-off another season of healthy living with a taste of Zumba, Yoga, Circuit Training, Line Dancing, and more. Come out and bring family and friends for fun, fellowship and fitness demos. To register, stop by the Member Services Station in the Narthex after each service or online at mtennon.org.

 

Saturday, September 30th – College and Career Fair:  Join us from 9:00AM – 1:00PM for this FREE community event.  Students are encouraged to come out to speak with college and workforce representatives to gather information for scholarships, financial assistance and job opportunities. For more information and to register, visit the Youth Station in the Narthex or online at mtennon.org and click on the Resource tab, then click on File Cabinet for the registration form.

 

Wednesdays in October – Fall Revival: All are invited to join us during this time set aside for restoration, renewal and revival.  Come out at 7:00PM and bring a friend on October 4th as we kick-off this revival season with a Live Recording Concert featuring Dorothy Norwood and guests. Dinner will not be served on this night, however a light meal will be served the remaining nights of revival. On Wednesdays, October 11th, 18th & 25th, we will have three dynamic revivalists.  Activities for children ages 5 – 11 will be provided. You don’t want to miss this awesome time in worship and the Word!
