Message from the Pastor


Tuesday, October 31st – Conference “The New Abolitionism:  Symposium on Money Mechanics & A Moral Economy”: Pastor Coates is inviting all to come out and bring a friend to this conference hosted at Mt. Ennon from 9:30AM – 4:30PM.  The first half of the conference will focus on "The Mechanics of Modern Money.” The second half will discuss moving “Towards a Theology of Economics.” This conference will educate the public on the economics and ethics of the modern money system. ATTENTION ALL LADIES—Women’s Day Choir Rehearsals:  In preparation for Women’s Day on Sunday, October 22nd, all ladies are invited to sing in the Women’s Day Choir.  Rehearsals are October 16th & 19th at 7:00PM and October 21st at 9:00AM.  Come out and bring a friend! For more information, stop by the Women’s Ministry Station in the Narthex.


Saturday, October 21st – Suited for Change Clothing Drive:  The Missionary Ministry is hosting a women’s clothing drive, from 9:00AM – 1:00PM, for the Suited for Change organization.  We are accepting gently-used or new business attire, handbags, jewelry and shoes; items must be clean and on hangers.


Friday, October 27th—Family Fun Night:  Join us at 6:00PM for a night of fun, games and food.  There will be something for everyone. Adventureland, pumpkin painting and scarecrow making for the children, ThrillSeekers Way for the teens, and The Pad for adults featuring a 70s themed costume contest, music and entertainment.  Bring your children in costume, but no ghoulish costumes and no witches (good or bad); there will be a costume contest. Saturday, October 28th – Choir Workshop – Structure, Strengthen and Sharpen: All are invited to join us from 9:00AM -1:00PM as we present sessions on vocal techniques, choir etiquette, soloing tips and more.  For more information, email


Saturday, October 28th – Hope Triumphs Cancer Survivors Brunch: The Women’s Ministry invites cancer survivors to join us for a fellowship brunch from 10:00AM - 12:00PM.  This will be a time for fellowship, inspiration and information.   Register at the Member Services Station in the Narthex or online at 


Sunday, October 29th – Impact Sunday:  Join us as we reach out to family, friends, coworkers and others within our sphere of influence to be our guest for one of our three worship services at 7:30AM, 9:30AM or 11:45AM.  Our goal is for Each One to Reach One. Stop by the Member Services Station in the Narthex to pick up your invite cards.


Sunday, October 29th – Ministry Open House:  Join us after each service in the Narthex to learn more about the following featured ministries: Children, Choirs, Drama, Environmental Stewardship, Internal Security, and Prison.  Come find a place to serve!


Administrative Support Position (Full Time):  We are seeking an organized, results-oriented individual to add to our administrative support team. The incumbent will perform a comprehensive range of procedural, administrative and support functions.  Qualified candidates must be active members of Mt. Ennon, spirit filled, professional, customer service oriented, possessing strong, cutting edge office automation and administration skills with the ability to maintain a cheerful disposition in a high production environment.  Qualified candidates should submit cover letters/resumes via email to by midnight November 5th.  Previous candidates need not reapply.
