Impact Offering: Many thanks to all of you who have fulfilled your Impact Pledge made at the beginning of the Lenten Season. To date, with your generosity, we have raised $136,627.00 to help make an impact on the lives of our students. For those who still desire to fulfill your pledges, we invite you to continue to give towards this Impact Offering. All donations will go toward impact grants to our local schools and academic scholarships to our students. To make your pledge, you may use the designated envelopes in the pews or ask an Usher for an envelope. Wednesday, May 3rd - Spring Revival: All are invited out at 7:00PM during this time set aside for restoration, renewal and revival. Come out and bring a friend as we welcome our guest revivalist, Rev. Dr. John R. Adolph from Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Beaumont, TX. Our special musical guest will be Bishop William Murphy. A light meal will be served from 5:00PM – 6:30PM; children’s activities will be provided beginning at 6:45PM. Don’t miss this awesome time in worship and the Word!
GreenWeekend: Come out and bring your neighbors to join us for a weekend celebrating environmental stewardship and green living. Join us for our Greenfest on Saturday, May 6th from 9:00AM – 1:00PM for a free fun-filled community celebration featuring a day of exhibits, demonstrations, onsite document shredding (9:30AM – 12:30PM, four boxes only please), collection of gently used clothes and household items, and a short-film festival! To register and get a list of acceptable donation items, visit the Member Services Station in the Narthex or online at mtennon.org.
On Sunday, May 7th, join us for one of our three worship experiences as we continue our Environmental Stewardship emphasis. Exhibitors will be in the Narthex to provide information on simple steps for greener living. Beginning May 7th (and each first Sunday), in an effort to conserve and protect our natural resources, we will celebrate Paperless Sunday. Electronic access to the church bulletin is available via our website under the Stay Connected tab. Join us in wearing green in celebration of the abundant goodness of God and creation!

Sunday, May 14th - Information Session for Tuition Assistance and Scholarships: A final Information session will be provided for the applicants and parents in room 130 after each service. Applications for undergraduates and postgraduates are available online and in the carousel near the Resource Office. The deadline for submitting all applications is Sunday, June 11th. Saturday, May 20th – Reception Celebrating Those Who Serve: Many dedicated members of our congregation serve in ministry to help accomplish the vision and mission of Mt. Ennon and “because of you, we can.” As a show of appreciation, Pastor Coates wishes to invite all ministry members to join him for a volunteer appreciation reception from 1:00PM – 3:00PM in the Fellowship Hall. Sunday, May 21st – Pastoral Anniversary: Join us for one of our three worship services as we celebrate our Pastor, Reverend Delman Coates, Ph.D., for 13 years of stellar service and leadership. His continued dedication to positively impact the church and our community exemplifies the true meaning of faithful servanthood. Come out and bring family and friends as we pay tribute to our beloved Pastor.
Friday, May 26th – Women’s Ministry Sisters Set Sail: Join us for a time of fellowship, fine dining and dancing on the Odyssey for a private luncheon cruise on the Potomac. Enjoy live music featuring Mr. Marcus Young and Friends. Motor Coach transportation will be provided. Attire is Casual Chic. The cost is a nonrefundable fee of $75.00; space is limited. Saturday, June 10th – Girl Scouts Father-Daughter Dance: Fathers and daughters are
invited to join us from 11:00AM – 2:00PM to enjoy a time of fun,
food and fellowship. Early Bird registration continues through Sunday, May 7th
for $25.00 per couple; the cost is $35.00 thereafter. For each additional daughter,
the cost is $10.00. All fees are nonrefundable. Register at the
