How long does it take for the organization to receive my gift?

When you make a financial gift, Mt. Ennon receives the gift immediately. It usually takes about 2-3 days until the funds are deposited into Mt. Ennon’s account. This is equivalent or faster than other forms of online giving.

Does it cost me anything?

There is no charge for you to make a gift. Standard text messaging and data rates apply.

Is my information sent in a text message?

We never send any personal or financial information via text message. We simply facilitate giving. Your personal and financial information is always encrypted and stored securely.

Is My Credit / Debit card Information Secure?

Yes. All sensitive financial information is stored with bank level security. All information is encrypted and stored by our banking partner to Level 1 PCI compliant standards. Level 1 PCI compliance is a set of rules stated by credit card companies and audited by an independent third party, Level 1 PCI is the highest possible rating. Additionally, all transmission to our banking partner and on our site is via an encrypted HTTPS connection.

How will my phone number be used?

Your phone number will never be sold, traded, or given out. However, our text giving solution will utilize your phone number to provide responses to requests you initiate.

How will I know when my credit card is charged?

You will receive both an email and a text message confirmation from Kindrid on behalf of Mt. Ennon.

What if I accidentally type the wrong amount?

When you make a gift, you will receive a text confirmation that re-states the amount given. If you made a mistake, respond with the word "refund" within the first 15 minutes and your credit or debit card will not be charged. After 15 minutes you can contact us at memberservices@mtennon.org and a refund can be issued for you.

Is it case sensitive? Do I have to put a $ symbol?

No. Gifts will work as 100 or $100 or $100.00 or 100.00 etc. Also there is nothing that is case sensitive.

How do I unlink my Smartphone from Smart Giving?

If you wish to close your account or change your phone number please email memberservices@mtennon.org.

How do I edit my information?

If you need to change your credit card information, name, or email address you can do so by going to your online text to give account http://kindrid.com/login. Once on the page, input your email address used to register and then click the "reset" password button. You will receive an email with a link to login. Once you login click your name in the top right corner and then the "account" button.

What is the phone number I use to text and to whom does it belong?

The phone number you are texting (301-918-5999) is a secure number that belongs to Mt. Ennon. It is used exclusively for this purpose.

What is Kindrid?

Kindrid is a non-profit organization dedicated to unleashing generosity. Mt. Ennon has partnered with Kindrid to provide its Text to Give platform.
